The BFH digital ‘Hall of Fame’ is a celebration of some of the dogs who have made our fields their happy place. It’s dedicated to wonderful dogs – past and present – who have voted to come here with their paws, over the years.
Want to see your dog featured on page? It doesn’t matter if they are a visitor today or had fun in the field before crossing the Rainbow Bridge – every pawprint left behind is part of BFH’s history. Just fill in this form and send in a photo and they’ll be added !
Lila

Field Alumni (In Loving Memory)
Breed : Collie
Main Reason For Visiting: To Avoid Other Dogs
Background : Rescue
With a heart full of mischief and boundless energy, Lila loved nothing more than bounding at full speed through the sea of golden buttercups. She will forever be remembered as a much loved pet, running wild and free
Nova

Active Explorer
Breed : Shiba Inu X
Main Reason For Visiting: New Family Addition With Recall Concerns
Background : Rescue
Approximately 2 years old, Nova was rescued by the RSPCA from streets in Essex. She’s an extremely affectionate dog who likes nothing more than running off-lead, playing in the ‘dig’ pits and on the agility obstacles. The large field environment tests her recall, but she has not failed yet and her behaviour has been exemplary.
Taz

Active Explorer
Breed : English Springer Spaniel
Main Reason For Visiting: Confidence / Bond Building
Background : Owned From a Puppy
After Covid Taz’s owner suffered severely with her own confidence and nerves about her dog’s recall, despite Taz being totally fine. Walking elsewhere was making her feel unwell. Using the fields is a way to allow him to run freely and his owner gets to enjoy it too instead of feeling worried. (note: Taz is recovering from an operation in this photo – hence the bright pink surgical collar !)
Cooper

Active Explorer
Breed : German shepherd
Main Reason For Visiting: To Avoid Other Dogs
Background : Owned From a Puppy
Cooper is the most reactive dog you will meet, he will bark if the wind changes direction, but he is also the biggest lovable big baby. Cooper has been coming to the fields since he was 1 he’s now 8. Seeing him running around the field is a joy too watch as his owners can relax and enjoy the fields too
Sydney

Active Explorer
Breed : English Springer Spaniel
Main Reason For Visiting: To Avoid Other Dogs
Background : New Family Addition
Out walking after surgery Sydney was jumped on by another dog, this in turn meant she did not like other dogs near her. Visiting Bromsgrove Field Hire means Sydney can ‘be more spaniel ‘ !
Teddy

Active Explorer
Breed : Shih-poo
Main Reason For Visiting: To Avoid Other Dogs
Background : New Family Addition
Teddy absolutely loves coming to the dog field! The second he realises where he is going, he gets so excited. He loves having the freedom to run around, sniff absolutely everything and explore safely at his own pace. It’s definitely one of his favourite places!
Milo

Active Explorer
Breed : Dachshund
Main Reason For Visiting: Recall / Escape Concerns
Background : Owned from a Puppy
Milo loves to follow a scent and go to ground as the breed often do and when he’s in the zone sniffing, his recall is poor. His owner loves seeing him being himself and he loves the freedom, natural scents galore and the peace to sniff. His owner also thinks that the fields are a brilliant place to relax for humans too!
Brandy

Active Explorer
Breed : King Charles Cavalier Spaniel
Main Reason For Visiting: Training
Background : Owned from a Puppy
Brandy came from a family of five brothers from loving parents, Annie & Bill.
He was born near Aberystwyth in Wales and joined his current owners at 9wks old. He settled in really well and quickly became a much loved family member who has been coming to the fields since he was a puppy, as he loves them.
Paddy & Nellie

Active Explorers
Breed : Welsh Hound & Labrador
Main Reason For Visiting: Recall / Escape Concerns
Background : Rescue
Paddy is a rescue. He has a beautiful character but has absolutely no recall. A police dog handler tried to help, but the owners were told that the hound instinct in him is very strong. He still has to be on a lead in the field because he knows when it’s time to go and doesn’t want to leave! Outside he is on a 30 meter lead.
Buddy

Active Explorer
Breed : Chocolate Lab x Boxer
Main Reason For Visiting: Avoid Other Dogs
Background : Owned from a Puppy
Buddy became selectively reactive after being sat on as a puppy. He loves the field for zoomies and off lead time
Joey & Skye

Active Explorer
Breed : Border Aussies
Main Reason For Visiting: Avoid Other Dogs
Background : Both owned from a Puppy
Same litter siblings Joey and Skye, love to take it in turns to chase each other and do zoomies. They love the field where it is safe to run free and burn off some energy
Wilf

Active Explorer
Breed : Border Collie
Main Reason For Visiting: Recall / Escape Concerns
Background : Fostered
Wilf belonged to the owner’s late sister and they gave him his forever home, when she passed. He has the sweetest nature and loves everyone and everything. He loved chasing a ball in the field but now he’s older, just sniffs around.
