What you might not know is the deeply personal reason why we started Bromsgrove Field Hire (BFH) and why keeping you and your dog(s) safe is so important to us.
The Roots of BFH
Years ago, our much-loved family dog was tragically attacked and killed by another dog.
While time has been a great healer, the emotional scars remain. We understand too well that an owner might feel suddenly anxious on a public path when a loose dog is spotted, especially if their own dog is reactive also.
Bromsgrove Field Hire was born out of that feeling: to remove the stress of having to walk in unpredictable public spaces or go through such a horrific experience.
A decade later and BFH has grown from this initial purpose, to offering so much more than just an exclusive and safe place to walk. The fields are packed with loads of mental and physical stimulation for dogs of all shapes, breeds, sizes, backgrounds and ages and are a great place to train, exercise and have lots of fun. Think more of a private doggie ‘park’ than just a field !

- Drive-In Secure Parking: Our large parking areas are situated entirely within the fields. You can drive straight in, shut the gate, and let your dog(s) jump out safely inside our secure perimeter fencing.
- Canine Enrichment & Agility: We feature bespoke, professionally made obstacles for safe play. Amongst lots of other pieces of apparatus, each field includes a post-and-rail fenced scurry run with soft-play beams, dog-friendly sand dig pits and dedicated sensory areas to stimulate mentally and physically.
- All-Weather Ground Care: Mud prevention matting, path laying and meticulous mowing takes place all year-round. No matter how British the weather gets, we try to keep the ground in the best possible condition.
- Human Comforts: We believe the human experience matters just as much. Enjoy our field shelters, comfortable seating, straightforward online booking calendars, beautifully kept facilities and on-site honesty shops.
- Exclusive Peace of Mind: Every time slot is booked for 100% exclusive use. Backed by substantial investment in field screening and generous time “buffers” between appointments, you never have to worry about unwanted distractions or reactive encounters.
- On-Site Owners & Rapid Service: Because we live on-site, instant help is available practically all the time. We also pride ourselves on rapid responses to texts, seamless timeslot swaps, and friendly, in-person support.
