Half Past Field – Reviews

29th March 2021 – Carol W

“We were privileged today to take a tour around the new Half Past Field with Jess, and she agrees that’s it’s great fun in there!

The Half Past offers something different from the Paddock and the Meadow and made a nice change. Jess was so excited, she never stopped running. She loved the diversity of the hill to run up (so that she could check for any sheep to observe in the far distance!), the flat part to walk on for a breather, and the super new challenges – for example the big tyres to run through.

There is the scurry and the agility equipment too of course – naturally always approved by a collie. She took a while to work out the huge ‘cotton reels’ but soon realised that if she was really clever and jumped on one and was very still until her release command, she would get her favourite chicken treat.

Her photos show some of the things she got up to today. All in all, it was like visiting a mini adventure park (with more to come we understand), but most importantly, it is very safe and secure with sturdy high fencing and gate entrance security as robust as the other fields, making it very safe for us all to enjoy our dog waking. Have fun everyone!”
