The Fields – Short Comparison & Links For More Details & To Make A Booking
Half Past Field: – A 3 acre field with an incline. It has the greatest number of hole digging wildlife visitors but is perfect for dogs that like short to medium walks, sniffing or exploring and for humans that want to relax looking at far reaching countryside views whilst their dog is safe. This field is adjacent to the Meadow, but there has been significant investment in camouflage netting and a large gap has been left between the two fields. Also a great training field. Open 6.30am- 8.20pm. Has safety lighting for after dark visits.
Long Run: – A 5 acre field with both deer fencing and low level chicken wire making it the most secure of all three fields for small escape artists. Packed with canine activities like Tetherball, Treibball and Scent Area as well as designed with humans in mind too (e.g. Pergoda of Remembrance). Ground reinforced perimeter walking path. Open 7am – 8pm. Has safety lighting for after dark visits.
The Meadow: – A large 7 acre field that is primarily flat and suitable for most breeds except wannabee escape artists who are intent on getting out, due to the field being adjacent to the busy A491 to the north and a reduced fence height of 4ft along the southern perimeter edge. Perfect for longer walks or dogs that like to explore ‘off-track’. This field is adjacent to the Half Past Field, but there has been significant investment in camouflage netting and a large gap has been left between the two fields.Open 8am – 7pm during daylight hours only.
